Recap: Brandon Hawkin swept the night for the second straight Wednesday with another dominating performance at Nazareth in the FAST Under Armour Cup Series WKC 250. Hawkin survived the carnage that slowed the race to an average speed of just 68.063 MPH, thanks to 13 yellows and 51 caution laps in a 79 lap event.
Cosmin Ioanesiu notched a career best second place finish in the FAST Cup Series, William Page extended his playoff points cushion to 139 crossing the line third, Tommy Bordeaux grabbed his first top five of the season in fourth, and Ricky Collette finished fifth to remain the only driver to finish in the top ten in all races this season.
Next week, the drivers of FAST will take a short trip within the state of Pennsylvania to Pocono for the Axalta 250. This is Pocono’s first appearance on the schedule since October 2016, when Hawkin won from the pole after leading 28 of 70 laps
