Viper wins Hawk Tribute Race at Michigan! #RideOn66

TDR Racing honored the memory of William Hawkins of SMO Hardcore on Saturday night with the SMO Hawk Tribute Race at Michigan. 2 early yellow flags damaged some good race cars but the field would stay green flag for 53 laps til the race conclusion. As usual at Michigan fuel mileage played a role in the races last laps. Robert Baucom, Viper, and Andy Margo found themselves in contention on the final lap! Exiting turn 4 it was Viper who carried enough speed while saving just enough gas to go to victory lane! A great win by one of SMO’s very own was a perfect way to honor Knighthawk! Thank you to the entire gang at SMO for allowing TDR to host this event in its Premier Cup Series!
